The invention relates to a system for connecting the feeder cable of the rotating windings, applicable to the construction of synchronous or asynchronous direct current machines as well as of the eddy current couplings and brakes, which can operate in explosion-prone environments.The system comprises a hollow axle (1) with a feeder cable (2) passing therethrough, said feeder cable supplying the rotor winding and being connected to the collector rings (3) insulated in respect of the axle (1) with the washers (4), and to the electroinsulating cylinder (5), respectively, located between clamping washers (6) screwed up with a nut (7) and fastened against pulling out or axial displacement by means of a packing gland type mounting consisting of a rubber (8) and a screwing nut (9).The supply voltage is collected from the collecting rings (3) by the brushes (10) mounted on a brush holder (11) which isolates them from an axle of the moving coupling (12) and on which the eddy current coupling winding is provided. The hollow axle (1) is introduced into the axle of the moving coupling (12), the relative totation thereof being ensured by bearings (13) having a spacer ring (14) therebetween, and the axial positioning and fixing of the collecting rings (3) in respect of the collecting brushes (10) is provided by the safety rings (15). The radial and axial clearances between the axle of coupling (12) and the spacer ring (14) and a shield (16), respectively, as well as the number and dimensions of the labyrinths between the bearing cover (17) and the labyrinth (18) are dimensioned corresponding the the desired antiexplosive protection.
