DEVELOPMENT OF COLLECTIVE RAISING SEEDLING VESSEL AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and efficiently develop a contracted collective raising seedling vessel without using a developing pin by sucking the vessel from both sides with sucking members, developing to a middle stage and successively pulling the vessel by a specific method to the completely developed state. SOLUTION: A collective raising seedling vessel composed of plural paper tubes arranged in lateral and longitudinal directions is developed to a middle stage by sucking and pulling both sides of the vessel with sucking members 46, the paper tubes constituting the outermost paper tube row of the vessel are hooked with hooking members 62 and the vessel is pulled with the hooking members 62 in place of the sucking members 46. The sucking members 46 placed at both sides of the collective raising seedling vessel are movable in separating direction. The separating motion may be performed by moving either one of the sucking members 46 placed at both sides of the vessel.
