PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission efficiency, reduce fuel consumption and reduce the size of a driving system by putting a dynamo-electric machine in the connecting state between an output shaft of an engine and a driving shaft of a vehicle through a transmission, and interposing a clutch for controlling transmission torque between an input shaft of the transmission and the output shaft. SOLUTION: At the time of power generation for idling of a hybrid automobile, a start clutch 3 is turned on, a high speed multiple disc clutch 14 is turned off, a speed change dog clutch 17 is put in the neutral position, and a motor generator dog clutch 9 is turned on. The torque from an engine 1 is transmitted through a medium speed drive gear 7 and a motor generator driven gear 8 to a motor generator 11. At the time of start, the high speed mutiple disc clutch 14 is turned on, and while the torque of the engine 1 is transmitted, the motor generator 11 is rotated. Further, while the rotation of the transmission input shaft 4 and the rotation of the transmission output shaft 19 are synchronized, the speed change dog clutch 17 is connected to the first speed. |
