PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting device without causing a physiological resistance to a user, an inputting device, an individual identifying device and a recording medium wherein impersonated fraud is impossible and forgery is extremely difficult and there exists no possibility of restraining a body when it is used and in addition, it is hardly effected by physiological condition and health condition and which utilize informations from a human body. SOLUTION: An FIFO memory 84 outputs voltage values of total 60 points including voltage values of 20 points obtd. by sampling amplitude wave shape signals by one click by using a time when timing at the peak position is inputted as a reference foreward on every 12.5 ms, voltage values of 39 points sampled backward on every 12.5 ms, and the voltage value at its peak as a set of characteristic quantities and based on the obtained characteristic quantities, a CPU 100 operates characteristic vector and characteristic matrix and stores them as individual data in an RAM 40 and a set of the characteristic quantities being newly inputted is identified based on the individual data sorted in the RAM.
