Apparatus for dispensing a filling into a flexible casing has at least two overlapping tying components (12). These are arranged symmetrically about the casing and can be pivoted towards each other to define an orifice (6) whose size is then reduced to tie off the casing when it is full. They consist of strips (12) with one end (13) fixed to an outer ring (10) which is concentric with the axis of the casing. The other ends form a second concentric circle inside the first whose diameter can be reduced by pivoting the strips. Each strip has an angle (15) in the surface (12a) which faces inwards.
