Users in a telecommunication system will probably change every now and then the mobile terminals they are using. A new mobile terminal does not necessarily comprise the service components that are required by the services the user has subscribed to. In the arrangements according to the invention, service components provided in a mobile terminal are compared (303) with the components required in the services the subscriber has subscribed to, and if a service component is missing from the mobile terminal, a procedure for loading the component is activated. In this manner, the mobile terminal can be provided with the services the user has subscribed to without the user having to be aware of the service components that are provided and required in the mobile terminal.
