MODIFIER COMPOSITION FOR METHACRYLATE RESIN WITH SMALL DEPENDENCE ON PROCESSING CONDITIONS

摘要

A modifier composition for methacrylic resins which can stably give excellen t strength under a wide range of injection molding conditions without impairin g transparency, color tone, and appearance. The composition comprises an impac t modifier, a polymeric processing aid, and a reducing compound. The proportio n of the impact modifier to the polymeric processing aid is from 95/5 to 80/20 by weight, and the reducing compound is contained in an amount of 0.25 to 1. 25 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the impact modifier an d the polymeric processing aid.
