The support holding hard disk drive has fore-part area (20), frame (14) with two side runners (32,33). The support meshes with the runners making it possible for support to slide into frame (14); A cantilever arm (34) fits into the frame (14) at its fore-part area. A cover (16) with a curved location surface (42) is connected with the fore-part area (20). The cover has a closed position in which the cover is parallel to the fore-part area, and the curve (42) presses the cantilever arm (34) against the fore-part area. Independent claims are included for a rack for holding a removable memory device e.g. a hard disk drive.
