The continuous treatment of an aqueous phase produced by hydrolyzing and/or condensing alkoxy- and/or chlorosilanes and separating the resulting silicone resin, where the aqueous phase contains solid and/or dissolved siloxanes, hydrochloric acid and alcohol, comprises: (a) separating solids; (b) extracting siloxanes; and (c) separating the alcohol.
