The arrangement performs optical detection, image analysis and correlation computing and consists of a compact mobile device with an image acquisition unit (1), distance measurement device (2) and positioning aid (3) for optical detection of the animals and an integrated computer (5) for enhancing the measurement accuracy of several stages of image processing and correlation analysis.
