A retention bolt includes a body (11) having a shank (12) that defines an axis (9) of the body (11), the shank (12) is threaded (14) at one end and has a head (20) at the other end. The head (20) includes an engagement portion (22) adapted to be gripped between fingers or between a thumb and a finger for rotating the body (11). The engagement portion (22) intersects and is symmetrically disposed with respect to the axis (9), being relatively thinner in respective mutually orthogonal directions transverse to the axis (9). At each end in the longer dimension, the engagement portion (22) has respective formations (30, 31) that extend generally parallel to the axis (9) and are of tapered cross-section, for being engaged by opposite internal angles of a plug spanner for effecting removal and installation of the bolt. |
