<p>A food warming device (10) having a bin (11) for holding food products (16). The bin (11) has an air intake port (26) and an air delivery port (21) located at first and second end walls (20 and 25) that are disposed at first and second opposite edges of the bottom portion (12). The regions above the bottom portion (12) and along the third and fourth opposite edges between first and second end walls (20 and 25) are open so that food products (16) are visible to customers. The bottom portion (12) has a heated surface (14) for receiving food products (16) to be warmed. Air circulating means (70) forms a stream of heated air (90) that moves from the air delivery port (21) over the heated surface (14) to the air intake port (26). Food products (16) receive heat from the heated surface (14) and from the stream of circulated air (90). A system balances the circulating air (90) by diverting a portion of the return air to ambient atmosphere through a bleed exhaust port (18).</p> |
