A matting (1) suitable for use as a floor/wall covering, said matting including: a layer of flexible material including a moisture impervious outer surface (3) having a series of apertures (4) therethrough; one or more moisture impervious drainage ducts (6) disposed below said outer surface (3) and being fully defined by and/or embedded within said matting; and a series of moisture impervious drainage passages extending in fluid sealed communication from said apertures formed in said outer surface (3) to said drainage ducts (6).
