<p>A fluid dispensing system includes a pouch (A) and a dispensing fitment (10, 10', 110, 110', 210, 210', 310). The fitment has a neck portion (14), a base portion (12), a bore (20) and a selectively removable plug (30) to block fluid flow through the bore. The plug is connected to the neck or base by a weakened or frangible zone of material (40). The frangible zone is broken by lateral forces acting on a projection portion (34) of the plug. The plug may act as a flapper valve if the frangible zone is not completely broken. One fitment includes a deformable neck portion (314) which acts as a valve.</p> |
