PURPOSE: A new variety of laver by hybridism of P. tenera tamatsuensis and P. yezonensis narawaensis increases the output of laver, and has better qualities than each laver before hybridizing such as soft leaf body and improved preference. CONSTITUTION: Method hybridizing P. tenera tamatsuensis and P. yezonensis narawaensis comprises the following steps: (i) A first step that separate colonies from F1 conchocelis rosea of green P. tenera tamatsuensis and red P. yezonensis narawaensis; (ii) A second step that form sporocyst under the condition of high temperature, low luminous intensity, and long-day of 20-23°C, 500-3,000lux, light period 12-14 hours, and dark period 12-14 hours; (iii) A third step that release spores under the condition of low temperature, high luminous intensity, and short-day of 10-15°C, 5,000-7,000lux, light period 10-12 hours, and dark period 12-14 hours to attach to Vinylon fiber and germinate, and obtain thalluses; (iv) A fourth step that choose one out of surviving individuals, cultivate under the above condition of low temperature, high luminous intensity, and short-day, and produce a separated conchocelis rosea fixed of a genotype by self-fertilization.
