摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for controlling a forward power in a CDMA mobile communication system are provided to reducing transmission power consumption is unnecessarily consumed for maintaining a necessary signal-to-noise rate(SNR) in a mobile station by measuring an accurate forward user channel using all symbols of a receiving frame. CONSTITUTION: A PN inverse diffuser(300) multiplies a received signal by a PN sequence and performs a PN inverse diffusion. A first path traffic orthogonal inverse diffuser(311) to a Nth path traffic orthogonal inverse diffuser(3N1) multiply the PN inverse-diffused receiving signal by an orthogonal code for a traffic channel. A first path channel estimator(313) to a Nth path channel estimator(3N3) detect a size of a phase of a pilot signal from the PN inverse-diffused receiving signal. A multiplier(315) to a multiplier(3N5) obtain a conjugate complex number of the size and the phase of the pilot signal detected according to each path. The multiplier(315) to the multiplier(3N5) multiply the conjugate complex number of the size and the phase of the pilot signal by receiving signals of a user channel, perform a phase compensation, and output a first demodulation symbol(319) to a Nth path demodulation symbol(3N9).
