<p>A charge mode, a discharge mode and a self-discharge mode are executed depending on the sign of the instantaneous current flowing in the battery. When the discharge mode starts a discharge capacity is calculated for a predetermined period and the calculated value is added to a previously determined full charge capacity to produce required full charge capacity for the present period. If an average voltage for the present period is less than a lower limit of the full discharge voltage value, a reference full charge capacity is updated with the required full charge capacity for the present period.</p> |
