PURPOSE: A DC type TV degaussing circuit is provided to allow the circuit to be operated with a lower voltage, thereby preventing an electric shock when repairing a TV set and reducing a manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: The DC type TV degaussing circuit comprises a signal generating portion oscillated by a constant-voltage signal to generate a first and second square wave signal of which each phase is inversed to each other, a constant-voltage generating portion(11) for generating and supplying the constant-voltage signal to the signal generating portion, a DC power source(16) for generating a DC voltage, a level shifting portion(13) for controlling the DC voltage responding to the first and second square wave signal to level-shifting into an AC voltage, a degaussing coil for performing a degaussing process by an AC signal, a degaussing current inputting portion(15) for generating a current signal while discharging the DC voltage, and a first switching portion having a first switching device for supplying the current signal to the degaussing coil responding to the first square wave signal and a second switching device for supplying the current signal to the degaussing coil responding to the second square wave signal.
