PURPOSE: A connecting apparatus for fluid main pipe and branch pipe is provided to make short work of constructing branch pipe and make sure of watertight in the connection of branch pipes. CONSTITUTION: A connecting apparatus for fluid main pipe and branch pipe comprises a socket rubber ring, a plug and nut. A socket rubber ring(10) has an empty hole(100) in the central part and is inserted into the hole(3) of main pipe(1) and fixed. A plug(11) comprises a tapered head(111) and male screw part(112) and connection(113). A tapered head is inserted in the empty hole and expands a socket rubber ring, and is formed in the one side of plug. A male screw part is formed in the other side of plug and united with a nut by a screw, and in a connection, a branch pipe and a socket are united. A nut is screwed on the male screw part and makes the socket rubber ring expanded by pulling the tapered head.
