RUBBER-BASED ADHESIVE COMPOSITION OF HEAT-SHRINKABLE SHEET AND TAPE, FOR TREATING ANTI-CORROSION AT THE WELDING REGION OF GAS PIPE

PURPOSE: A rubber-based adhesive composition of heat-shrinkable sheet and tape is provided, which sheet and tape is for anti-corrosion treating the welding region of a gas pipe, to improve the release adhesion strength and the cold resistance. CONSTITUTION: The rubber-based adhesive composition comprises 100 parts by weight of rubber-based resin; 50-60 parts by weight of adhesion-giving resin; 15-25 parts by weight of paraffin process oil; 45-55 parts by weight of polybutene; 15-25 parts by weight of carbon black; 20-40 parts by weight of calcium carbonate; and 5-10 parts by weight of zinc oxide. Preferably the rubber-based resin is selected from natural rubber, isobutylene-isoprene copolymer and EVA elastomer; and the adhesion-giving resin is selected from C5./C9 copolymer petroleum resin, rosin derivative, coumarone-indene resin and terpene oligomer.
