A housing (2) for a master cylinder (1) has an external inlet connection (41) having a free end for direct connection with a conduit (41a), and a passage (42) for connection with the conduit which opens to the housing bore (3) as first and second openings (7, 8). The passage and the two inlet openings are configured to be formed by a single molding core. A housing for a master cylinder has an external inlet connection formed integrally with the housing. The inlet connection has a free end for direct connection with a conduit connected with the reservoir, and a passage for connection with the conduit which opens into the housing bore as first and second openings. The passage and the two inlet openings are configured to be formed by a single molding core. An independent claim is also included for injection molding of the housing by injecting plastic materials to a mold defining the external shape of the housing; curing the plastics in the mold; removing the first and second core projections; and removing the molded housing from the mold having a first core projection defining the housing bore and a second core projection defining an inlet passage.
