PURPOSE: A compressor piston having intake valve is provided to reduce parts count and noise while allowing a piston to have an intake valve incorporated therein. CONSTITUTION: A compressor piston comprises an insertion groove(15) formed at an end surface of a piston head(11), a suction passage(16) penetrating from the insertion groove to a rear of the piston head so that a control chamber of a compressor communicates with a cylinder bore of the compressor, and an intake valve(21) inserted into the insertion groove so as to allow one end of the intake valve is fixed to the groove, thus allowing the intake valve to be opened at a suction stroke of the piston and closed at a compression stroke. The intake valve has at an end thereof a shaft tube(22) which can be fitted into the insertion groove by a pin(24) or a welding. The shaft tube has a stopper(23) protruded so as to restrict the maximum open angle of the intake valve. A supplementary suction passage(17) branched from the suction passage can be arranged so as to allow the control chamber of the compressor to be communicated with a cylinder bore.
