PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject ink without causing the clogging of a nozzle of an ink jet printer even when carrying out the continuous printing for a long period, without growing molds and further without causing permeation of the ink into the interior of an eggshell by including purified sodium iron chlorophyllin, or the like, and water. SOLUTION: This ink is obtained by including (A) one or more kinds selected from purified sodium iron chlorophyllin, purified sodium copper chlorophyllin or purified sodium chlorophyllin and (B) water. The amounts of the components in the ink are preferably 0.1-10 wt.% of the component A and 50-99.85 wt.% of the component B. The above purification is preferably carried out by purifying iron chlorophyllin, copper chlorophyllin or chlorophyllin with one or more kinds of solvents selected from acetone, or the like, and then washing the resultant purified iron chlorophyllin, copper chlorophyllin or chlorophyllin with water in an amount of >=2 times based thereon. The ink is useful for marking on the eggshell surface. |
