<p>The method involves receiving a telephone call initiated by an anonymous caller, followed by prompting the latter to transmit a personal identification code corresp to a specimen previously provided to the medical testing laboratory by the anonymous caller prior to placing the telephone call. Subsequently it requires receiving the personal identification code, then retrieving, in response to the personal identification code, test result information associated with the specimen previously provided to the medical testing laboratory by the anonymous caller. The method further entails selecting, in response to the test result information, a call handler from a number of call handlers for processing the telephone call. The latter is then routed to the selected call handler. Finally it includes providing the test result information to the anonymous caller with the selected call handler.</p> |
