摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte of high performance by applying adsorption treatment to the nonaqueous electrolyte with an electrolyte dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, using coagulated magnesium oxide grains with a BET specific surface area and an average grain diameter set in specific ranges. SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte formed by dissolving an electrolyte which is a lithium salt of a fluorine compound, in a nonaqueous solvent preferably containing cyclic carbonate or chain carbonate at 50 wt.% or more of the total quantity is subjected to adsorption treatment using coagulated magnesium oxide 0.1-2.0 m2/g in a BET specific surface area and 1-300μm in average grain diameter. The adsorption treatment is performed to obtain the nonaqueous electrolyte with the water content <=20 wt.ppm and the hydrogen fluoride content <=30 ppm. Ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate or ethyl methyl carbonate is used as the nonaqueous solvent, and LiPF6 of LiBF4 is used as the electrolyte.
