<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method and a device for acquiring information by which information about a lower information storage means can be responded in accordance with the request from a higher-rank control part. SOLUTION: Higher control terminals 101, 102, and 103 by which a user issues commands related to an information recording medium, an information storage means 600, and a management means 300 which has a second memory 440 and manages the information storage means 600 in accordance with commands of higher control terminals 101, 102, and 103 are provided, and the information storage means 600 is provided with a bin 621 where plural information recording mediums are stored, plural recording/reproducing devices 611 and 612 which record information in information recording mediums or reproduce recorded information in information recording mediums, a handler 623 which exchanges information recording mediums between the bin and information recording/reproducing devices, and a first memory 640 where various related information is recorded. Various related information about the information storage means 600 in the first memory 640 is steadily acquired in the second memory 44 of the management means 300.</p> |
