摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a cored coil and form a simple surface-mounting surface structure by forming a flat part in part of a magnetic core and allowing the surface of the flat part to make up a predetermined percentage of the outer circumferential surface of the magnetic core. SOLUTION: Of the total area of the outer circumferential surface of a magnetic core 11, an area occupied by the surfaces of flat parts 11b and 11c, i.e., the flattening rate is set to 70% or more. To increase the flattening rate of the core 11 to 70% or more, the biasing forces from the directions A and B are increased, to thereby collapse the core 11 to a further extent. Thus, by forming the core 11 whose flattening rate is high, the height of a cored coil 10 can be made smaller. Further, when the flattening rate of the core 11 is increased in this way, the more surface areas of the parts 11b and 11c of the core 11 are flattened, thereby implementing the flattening of the surface of the coil 10. Thus, by increasing the flattening rate of the core 11 to 70% or more, the coil 10 can be further downsized without the use of molding resin.
