PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject bath preparation by packing a cloth bag with dried powder of Cortinellus shiitake to enable the active ingredient of Cortinellus shiitake to be percutaneously absorbed efficiently without waste into the organism through using a small amount of Cortinellus shiitake. SOLUTION: This bath preparation is obtained by packing a cloth bag with dried powder of Cortinellus shiitake, pref. a mixture of dried powder of Cortinellus shiitake and dried powder of at least one kind of herbal plant (e.g. rice bran, mugwort, persimmon leaves, tangle, fungi belonging to Polyporaceae) or dried powder of the active ingredient extracted from the above herbal plant(s); wherein it is preferable that the average particle size of the dried powder of Cortinellus shiitake is 30-120 mesh and the cloth bag consists of a woven fabric of <=300 mesh. A preferable usage of this bath preparation is such that, glycerol hot water prepared by adding 0.1-5 mL of glycerol to 100 mL of hot water, or a surfactant-contg. hot water prepared by adding 0.01-1 g of a nonionic surfactant 8-18 in HLB number to 100 mL of hot water is soaked with this bath preparation to effect impregnating it with the hot water followed by rubbing the skin with the resulting bath preparation thus impregnated.
