<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail server device capable of providing a distribution service capable of transmitting anonymous electronic mail from a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A mail server 24 transfers received mail to the prescribed number of members selected by a prescribed method out of previously registered members at random. In this case, the mail is transferred after translating the call origination source information of the received mail to a corresponding nickname address registered in a member data base 33.
