PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple data transmitting and receiving device automatically reading integrated value data or specific data or the like in a noncontact state by using a handy terminal, without changing a meter with a communicating function. SOLUTION: A data transmitting and receiving device 20 connected with a microcomputer meter 10 with a communicating function for relaying between a meter and a handy terminal 30 is provided with a serial interface part 25, which can be connected with a communication interface 14 of the microcomputer meter 10, and a storage part 23 for storing data such as an integrated value read from the meter through the serial interface part, and a transmitting and receiving part 22. Thus, an induced electromotive force is generated at an antenna coil 21 by radio waves generated from the handy terminal 30, so that the transmitting and receiving part 22 can be started, and the data stored in the storage part 23 can be transmitted to the handy terminal in a noncontact manner. |
