PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate or prevent striking sound due to collision of a rolling mass with an inside surface of a storing chamber at the time of starting/ stopping shaft rotation. SOLUTION: In this damper, a hub 1 is provided with a plurality of storing chambers 12 at equal phase intervals, each rolling mass 3 is movably stored within each of these storing chambers 12 and a disc-shaped buffer elastic body 4 made of elastomer is mounted on this rolling mass 3. The rolling mass 3 is held with an inside surface of the storing chamber 12 in a non-contact state by the buffer elastic body 4 at the time of non-rotation and low speed rotation of the hub 1. When centrifugal force is a prescribed size or more, the rolling mass 3 contacts a mass receiving surfaces 12a of the storing chamber 12 against elasticity of the buffer elastic body 4 by centrifugal force and rolls.
