PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize engine speed at start-up in a vehicle, which performs speed control by a motor generator as well as speed control by the engine itself. SOLUTION: In a vehicle provided with a motor generator 2 and an engine 1, in which the speed while idling is controlled to a prescribed target idling speed, which controls the engine speed by generating power with a motor generator 2 at start-up of an engine, idling speed control by the engine 1 is inhibited at engine start-up. As a result, speed control by the motor generator 2 and idling speed control by the engine 1 itself stop interfering, such that the engine speed becomes stable. |
