<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make strength uniform without splicing and to cut the production cost, by opening both ends of flexible cylindrical body made from a single resin material and by forming a cut where overlapping pieces are formed which projects outward in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body. SOLUTION: Both ends 3, 4 of a cable protecting cover 1 formed flexibly in a cylindrical body 2 with a single resin material are opened. A cut 5 is formed in the longitudinal direction on one side of the cylindrical body and overlapping pieces 6, 6 which project outward solidly are formed on the cut. A diametrically enlarged part 7 of a horn shape is formed solidly on the one end part 3. Also, through-holes 8 are provided at a constant interval on the overlapping pieces 6, 6. The flexibility of the resin allows the cut 5 to be enlarged with stability. Thus, a plurality of the covers can be stacked, so that they become less bulky and can easily be handled when stored or transported. When the cover is hooked at the through-hole 8 of the end part 4 and lifted with a rope for the installation on a cable, a plurality of the covers can be transferred in a stacked state to a high place as the larger-diameter part 7 functions as an anti-skid means.</p> |
