<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a machine into the network of machines capable of designating an address by providing a means for storing and recognizing an address which is not the address of the machine, to which the port is connected, at each port of an additional machine. SOLUTION: An additional machine M4' has four ports P'4a to P'4d. Each port P'4a to P'4d includes a means for recognizing each address A2, A3, A1, A1. Each port of the machine M4' designates a machine to which the additional machine is connected, and recognizes an address which is not the address of the machine to which the port is connected. In order to discriminate a message address-designated by another machine in the network from a message address- designated by the machine M4' in addition, each port includes a means for recognizing a specific kind of message or a specific message content.
