PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for laying hot-water mat for floor heating which can reduce the number of site-installed small floor joists at the laying site of the mat as much as possible. SOLUTION: The size series of standard hot-water mats 1 and 1' are decided by mainly using the mats 1 and 1' having narrow widths and long sideways. The lengths of the mats 1 and 1' are variably changed in many ways including a significantly long length. The mats 1 and 1' are connected to each other in the width direction. The sizes of the mats 1 and 1' in the longitudinal direction of small floor joists 7 are used as the widths of the mats 1 and 1' and the sizes of the mats 1 and 1' in the arranging direction of the joists 7 when a plurality of joists 7 are arranged in parallel is used as the lengths of the mats 1 and 1'.
