ADAPTIVE CONTROL SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an adaptive control system and its method using an adaptive digital filter at a low cost while securing sufficient performance for highly accurately and stably controlling a target to be controlled. SOLUTION: The adaptive control system 10 for adaptively controlling a material vibration testing machine 12 is provided with a desired value signal generation part 18, an adaptive digital filter 20 and a filter coefficient adaptation part 30. The adaptation part 30 is provided with a 1st sampling mechanism 32 for sampling and storing the signal value of a digital measured value signal and a 2nd sampling mechanism 34 for sampling and storing the signal value of a filtered digital desired value signal and constituted so as to determine the filter coefficient of the filter 20 on the basis of the signal values stored in these mechanisms 32, 34.
