PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming a stable high-quality image by preventing the lowering of transfer performance by guiding transfer material to a transfer area passing through an optimum path. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, a discharge electrode 47 for transferring a toner image to copying paper P is provided in a shielding case 46 opened to face to a photoreceptor drum 45 carrying the toner image on its surface 44. A 1st guiding member 50 is provided at the aperture part 4a of the case 46 and a shielding member 51 shielding part of the aperture of the case 46 facing to the drum 45 is provided in the member 50. A 2nd guiding member 56 is provided under the member 50, and a 3rd guiding member 57 guiding the copying paper P guided and carried by the 1st and the 2nd guiding members 50 and 56 toward a previously set transfer position 52a in a transfer area 52 is provided under the transfer area 52.
