PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control system using a piezo element as an actuator for opening a valve, capable of surely removing residual displacement after enlarging the element. SOLUTION: A nozzle needle is energized to the side of valve opening by fuel oil pressure from a common rail. Fuel injection is operated by enlarging a piezo element 19 against the energizing force. Wirings for vertical effect 21, 22 and wirings for horizontal effect 23, 24 are disposed on the piezo element 19. A controller 34 supplies driving voltage into the wirings for vertical effect 21, 22 for performing enlarging operation. In the controller 34, the energizing force against the nozzle needle of the valve opening is at work at the end of injection, electromotive force generated on the piezo element 19 is used as a monitor signal, the driving voltage is supplied into the wirings for horizontal effect 23, 24, and then residual deformation is removed at the time of extending the piezo element 19.
