PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small fuel system from which an extra space is eliminated. SOLUTION: In this fuel system in which a fuel pump 5 and at least either a strainer 6 or a pressure regulator 7 are arranged in a fuel tank, a holder 9 for retaining the fuel pump 5 and the strainer 6 or the pressure regulator 7 is arranged in the upper part of a reservoir 4b arranged in the fuel tank. The fuel pump 5 and the strainer 6 or the pressure regulator 7 are connected to each other by a connecting cover 11, and retained by the holder 9 and the connecting cover 11. A check valve 20 is enclosed in the connecting cover 11.
