PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add washing detergents, rinse agents and other washing auxiliaries easily into an auxiliaries-storage portion by arranging an adding opening of auxiliaries on the front of a water pouring device from the upside of its end face, for an auxiliaries adding apparatus of a washing machine which adds washing auxiliaries including washing detergents and rinse agents into a washing tank. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, an auxiliaries case 12 which has an auxiliaries-storage portion 13 storing washing auxiliaries 5 including washing detergents and rinse agents is housed within a water pouring device 2 in a manner to be drawn out of it, and water is poured into the washing tank from a running-water outlet 4 through the auxiliaries case 12. In the water pouring device 2, a water pouring opening 3 for pouring water into the auxiliaries case 12 is arranged, and a shield portion 16 is provided in a gap 15 between the side of a handle 14 of the auxiliaries case 12 and the auxiliaries-storage portion 13.
