PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore information stored in a medium again even though information writing is not successful and to perform writing by generating a CD file system again. SOLUTION: This method is an information processing method which writes information in an optical storage medium in each session. Here, it has a final session position storing step S16 in which a final session position of the optical storage medium before information writing is stored and an information writing step S25, and reads a file system of the session located at the position stored in the step S25 in the case the writing fails in the step S25.
