PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the organic electrophotographic photoreceptor stable in electric characteristics at the time of repeating use and changeable environmental use conditions and reduced in charge potential difference between the first revolution of the photoreceptor and those after the following revolutions and further, freed of imaging troubles, such as transfer memory. SOLUTION: The charge generating layer of the photoreceptor contains as a charge generating material a noncrystalline oxytitanylphthalocyanine not exhibiting an intense X-ray diffraction peak and a charge transfer layer contains as a charge transfer material a styryl derivative represented by the formula each of Ar1, Ar2, and Ar4 is an aryl group; and Ar3 is an arylene group; R is an alkyl or alkoxy or aryl group; (n) is 0, 1, 2, or 3; and (m) is 1 or 2.
