PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable flow and drain while the drain material can be mounted on an existing drain pipe and a catch basin in simple constitution and refuse in water flow is removed by integrally forming an insertion part inserted in the drain pipe and a larger filtering part than it by a porous material having meshes. SOLUTION: This refuse catching drain material 3 composed of an insertion part 31 and a filtering part 32 is provided in the inlet of the drain pipe side of a catch basin so as to be inserted in a pipe passage. The refuse catching drain material 3 is formed by using a porous material, and the insertion part 31 is formed so as to be inserted in a drain pipe, so as to be equal to the inside diameter of the drain pipe and so that refuse such as fallen leaves does not intrude into a gap between the inner face of the drain pipe and the outer peripheral face of an insertion porous material. The filtering part 32 is larger than the diameter of the drain pipe on the outer end inserted in the drain pipe. Thereby, the refuse such as the fallen leaves is prevented from intruding into the pipe drain, the drain pipe can be prevented from clogging, it can be simply mounted on the drain pipe, and further manufactured inexpensively.
