PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room unit having a handrail supporting to stand up from and sit on a seat stool and a washbasin easy for a user to use in the state of sitting on the seat stool. SOLUTION: This room unit is formed so that a seat stool 21 is provided on a unit body 1 obtained by erecting on the unit body a wall panel comprising a bottom panel 12 suspended from a ceiling panel 1a and side wall panels 13a and 13b, and a washbasin 5 having one side part 51 and the other side part 52 opposed to the ceiling panel 1a and bottom wall panel 12, respectively, is disposed on the side wall panel 13a on the seat stool 21 side. Also, a pair of handrails 6 comprising a vertical handrail 61 and a horizontal handrail 62 supporting to stand up from and sit on the seat stool 21 is provided on the side wall panel 13a on the sit stool 21 side, and the vertical handrail 61 and horizontal handrail 62 are disposed adjacent to one side part 51 and the other side part 52 of the washbasin 5, respectively.
