PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic having slight possibility of inducing an explosion accident or the like without affecting to the environment by including a non- aqueous cosmetic composition containing a carbonate and an acidic component and a cosmetic composition containing water and forming a foam by using a carbonic acid gas generating at mixing the compositions as a source of the gas. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by mixing at least two kinds of (A) a non-aqueous cosmetic composition containing (i) a carbonate (e.g. sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate or the like) and (ii) an acidic component (e.g. citric acid and/or its salt or the like) and (B) a cosmetic composition containing water. Preferably, 0.1-5 wt.% of the component (i) and 0.1-10 wt.% of the component (ii) are contained in the cosmetic in a final state of administering to the skin. Preferably, further the cosmetic contains 8-20 wt.% of (C) glycerol, 1,3- butanediol, dipropylene glycol, 1,4-pentanediol or the like.
