PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a remote controller small in the possibility of damaging a speaker by making the shape of a hole slit rectangular, providing the edges of an opening with R-shaped roundness and making the R radius of an opening lower edge larger than that of an opening upper edge. SOLUTION: A hole slit 5 is rectangular, has R-shaped roundness at the edge of an opening 7 and makes the R radius of an opening lower edge 9 larger than that of the opening upper edge 8. Further, a downward wide-width part 6 is provided in a central part of the part 7. The central part of the edge 9 in the slit 5 of a bottom step is positioned as high as or lower than the upper edge of the inner diameter of a packing for a built-in speaker. Thus, penetrating water that brings about volume drop and speaker deterioration is prevented from staying within a case. Then, even when a remote controller is cleaned with shower water, there is few possibility that the speaker is damaged.
