PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make cookable a menus of a fish grilling system and a menus of an oven system by means of a single roaster. SOLUTION: The fish roaster is formed of a cooking chamber 1, a grill 15, an upper heating element 2 positioned higher than this grill 15, a lower heating element 3 positioned lower than it, a temperature detecting means 5 for detecting a temperature in the housing, a cooking menu setting means 6 and a control means 7 for controlling the upper heating element and the lower heating element. Cooking menus to be set include a menus of a fish grilling system and an oven system and at the time of selecting a menu of the fish grilling system by a fish grilling switch, the element 3 and the element 2 are alternately energized with maximum power to heat-cook food material. At the time of selecting the menu of the oven system by an oven switch, the lower heating element is first energized with maximum power to warm inside of the cooking housing and continually, this is intermittently energized to heat gradually. Finally, the upper heating element is energized with maximum power to finish by grilling until the upper surface of the food material gets burned properly.
