PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce color slurring caused by the speed fluctuation of a photoreceptor and an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: In this image forming device that a multicolor image is superposed on the intermediate transfer body 16 by rotating the photoreceptor 13 and the intermediate transfer body 16 by different driving sources, so that a color image is formed, a phase difference between timing to write a latent image on the photoreceptor and the rotation cycle of the intermediate transfer body is detected, and is corrected by increasing/decreasing the rotating speed of the intermediate transfer body according to a correction signal while the image is not transferred to the intermediate transfer body. Then, the deviation of a transfer position caused by load fluctuation to the intermediate transfer body 16 is added to the correction signal so as to perform the correction. |
