PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reproduction from being hindered because of the effect of a traffic state of a server or because request for succeeding data had become impossible since data reproduction cannot be performed, to relieve the load of the server, to deal with many more clients in on-demand stream reproduction, to simplify data reproduction by a client and to reduce cost. SOLUTION: An information recording medium stores a program that includes a data read step (step S101) to read data including at least an image, a data arrangement step (step S103) where scalability to change a code quantity is applied to the read data so as to arrange data which can be reproduced in a plurality of different image qualities into a plurality of steps (step S103) in the order of increasing code quantities, a data acquisition information generating step (step 104) that generates data acquisition information selected and acquired from the arranged reproduction data in response to the reproduction status, and a multiplexing processing step (step S106) that processes the reproduction data and the data acquisition information into a file. |
