PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and intermittently flash by sharing a number of electric parts for stroboscope in use, by applying a prescribed voltage to a trigger electrode of a xenon flash tube, and providing an automatic intermittent flashing circuit for flashing from the xenon flash tube by discharge of a main capacitor. SOLUTION: When a main switch 12 is switched on, a trigger capacitor 24 is charged to a predetermined voltage, and the electric charges of the charged trigger capacitor 24 are discharged via the main switch 12, the primary winding of a trigger coil 18, and a thyristor 21, and a higher voltage generated in the secondary winding of the trigger coil 18 is applied to a trigger electrode 16a of the xenon flash tube 16. Therefore, a main capacitor 17 is discharged and the xenon flash tube 16 flashes. After that, the main capacitor 17 and the trigger capacitor 24, of which the potentials have fallen due to the discharge, start being re-charged and repeat the above-mentioned operation. Therefore, the xenon flash tube 16 automatically repeats flashing intermittently at fixed intervals. |
